A Small Glimpse into the Everyday Events of our Lives.

or is going to get you." So one night when Steve was tucking Ty into bed he asked, "Dad, are we all "inator's"?" It was pretty cute. Anyway, I thought these pictures were perfectly cute.

On Monday we got an extra day with Kari and J (their flight was cancelled on Sunday), so we went to the zoo. We took this picture for Steve because he so loves snakes, yeah right, but check out the size of the rattle on this bad boy.
The kids got to feed the giraffe. Those things have the ickiest longest tongues, but they were brave and fed them. It isn't a big zoo here in lovely Fresno, but the kids had a good time!
We spent yesterday at the water park and because I am the coolest mom, I didn't do so great at applying the sunscreen and my poor little monkey's are a little scorched. They had a great time though. Ty has been taking swimming lessons from a lady in our ward who use to teach at "the" swim school here, it is quite amazing how fast he has learned. In only three lessons, he has learned to swim across the pool all alone and breath, if he gets tired he can roll onto his back and float for a rest. He has learned the beginnings of the elementary back stroke, freestyle and the back stroke. He can dive (pretty good) and he is learning how to dive for things on the bottom of the pool. He only had three lessons with her, but he is set for the summer. She donated he 3 lessons for a ward fund raiser and we bought them, I wish I could talk her into giving some to Brooks to, but maybe we will wait until next year.

And finally, yesterday we went to Sequoia. It was really fun and pretty unbelievable to see how big those trees are. We took lots of pictures of course and enjoyed some great noise from Jakey in the car. He no likey the car seat, but twizzlers make me very happy. We are so sad to see them go, but it was so fun to play all week.

A few pictures of our adventures so far this week. Of course the first is of my kids with Jakey. He is so cute. I had to throw in this one of Tyler after his preschool program. He was so excited! Joshua and Jakey are best buddies, they are both so cute, and it has been fun to see them together. Jakey started sitting by himself this week and is so wishing to crawl and Josh is Mister chill and content to just lay on the floor and reach for toys. They are so much fun!
Kari cut Brookies hair into a cute A-line Bob. Brookie was so wiggly and I have no idea how Kari got it straight.

Finally we are at the "Quedium" Pictures. That is how Brooks says Aquarium. Jakey's favorite part of the day was the beach. He knocked of in only a couple of minutes once we hit the beach. He was out cold for 2 good hours. It was funny!

These pictures of my cute Joshua make me giggle. He has been trying to figure out the whole rolling thing and today he mostly figured it out. He still has a hard time moving his arm so that he can roll, but if he is up on his elbows he can get it. He was sooo mad and then once he rolled onto his side and back he acted like nothing was wrong. I can't get enough of this kid, he is so adorable!

Here is Joshua trying on his new shades for the water park this summer! Alright so I'm a little silly, but the sunshine is so bright I thought he could use them. We'll see if he ends up liking them.
Here is Tyler in action at T-ball. He love to play and has so much fun. On this particular day he was the "pitcher"
And finally, THE PRINCESS. In this picture she was cooking with Grandma. She keeps us frustrated, and laughing all at the same time. She is a cutie!
